  • CAPA San Diego Tournament Director

    We are looking for a tournament director who is highly organized, good in time management and has great network with the San Diego pickleball community.

    Primary Responsibilities include:

    Before the Tournament:

    • Collect registrations and manage participant information.

    • Respond to participant inquiries via email.

    • Create brackets using pickleball software.

    • Set up the banners, podiums, courts, and nets.

    During the Tournament:

    • Supervise crew members and oversee registration and scorekeeping.

    • Handle player needs and resolve disputes.

    • Capture photos and videos of the tournament.

    • Share updates on social media platforms.

    After the Tournament:

    • Post winners' photos on social media.

    • Record scores in the DUPR system.

    • Address post-tournament inquiries via email.

    Position Specifics:

    • Part-time position, 80-100 hours per tournament

    • Remote work before and after the tournament, on site during the tournament

    • $2000-3500 per tournament depending on location and experience

    We are looking for volunteer crew who is friendly, outgoing and team-oriented around San Diego and San Francisco area

    Primary Responsibilities include:

    • Scorekeeping

    • Registration

    • Venue setup

    • Social Media

    • Video Recording

    • MC, Host

    Position Specifics:

    • Part-time position

    • On site during the tournament

    • Free CAPA entries, merchandise, lunch and gatherings
